Eggcentricity Jewels

Ewanna is an American-Greek that has returned to her roots with her family and now live in Patras on the western coast of the Peloponnese island of Greece, the land where ancient myth and mystery and history are still alive. As for crafting, there is basically nothing that she can't make or do if it involves using your hands and a generous dose of creativity. But her passion is seeing a pile of gemstones and wire and silver findings become beautiful pieces of wearable art. Using only genuine gemstones in both bead and free set form, she also uses a ton of genuine natural and dyed pearls. SHE LOVE PEARLS in any form and color! Mostly using sterling silver wire for her work but due to the popularity of copper and brass this year, she is now using a bit of those also. She sometimes will wrap and use glass work from some of the finest lampwork glass makers around in her jewelry. In trying to keep things looking natural, she uses odd cuts and imperfect stones.

Seaside Designs

Renee was very blessed as a child to have a wonderful and creative mother who would often take them to the woods or beach to collect natur'es treasures. Pine cones, shells, leaves, moss would all magiclly become a wonderful creation for their home.

Seaside Designs carries forward this appreciation for all things natural and strives to take the ordinary and create something unique.

Her Homespun Wreaths were created when after making I quilt, she was left with extra fabric and wanted a coordinating piece in the room. Each wreath is made by hand. Hundreds of strips of fabric are handcut and handtied on to a wire frame, making this a sturdy piece that with propr care will be an heirloom of tomorrow.

Coordinating fabrics are chosen to give the pieces highlights and lowlights that move your eye comfortably around the composition.Only brand new, quilt quality homespun woven fabrics are used. This gives each piece a finished look as there is no wrong or back side to a true woven. If you are quilting, you may already be using many of these fabrics! There are many designs to choose from. Everything from Shabby Cottage to Beach to Country Primitive. What a unique coordinating accessory!

Seaside Designs shadowboxes are also completely made by hand. Renee's husband builds all of the shadowboxes and she does all of the design work. Many of their handmade pictures and signs feature real pressed flowers that are grown in her beachside gardens and were pressed by hand.

Each piece in their Seaside design Collection is unique and usually One of a Kind. Many of their items have coordinating pieces that were designed to compliment each other Please feel free to contact Renee and she will be happy to coordinate a vinette for you. Custom Orders are always welcome. If you have a design idea in mind, please email Renee and she will work closely with you to see if she can make it possible.

Nature provides us with any special treasures if we only find the time to stop, appreciate them and make them our own. Renee hopes these pieces will be a treasured addition to your home as each piece was made with great love and care.

The Rag Rug Closet

Nancy discovered about a year ago that she could make rag rugs and these rugs would be so unique you wouldn't be able to find them anywhere else. She even thought it would be cool to make pet place mats. Where else are you going to find a place mat for your pet? People comment continually that these rag rugs remind them of the ones that their grandmother use to make. Only Nancy's are more colorful! This was her goal when she starting making these rag rugs. She also make beautiful wreaths occasionally when the whim comes along.
