Something Pretty For the Holidays

It's getting to be that time of year again when we start to think of what to get our loved ones and friends for Christmas. We want something unique and different that they will love and cherish for many years to come.

Here's a list of truly amazing handcrafters who can help make your Christmas a very special one this year. These women, and two men, make unique one of a kind items ranging from crocheting to whirlygigs. All of these crafters take great pride in their work and guarantee their work will last. You won't be sorry when you purchase from these wonderful people. Your only problem will be deciding on what gift to get.

Each crafter is listed with a link to their websites where they sell their items or to their blogs where you can learn more about their items and themselves.

I hope you will take the time to check out these amazing people and their crafts. You won't be sorry you did.

Something Pretty

Bettye of Something Pretty considers herself a handcrafter/artist and that she is. She creates many vatied types of items from wood and clay. She also paints on anything that she can get her hands on. Her most unique items are the hand-crafted sewing machine pins. She creates these from a slab of clay and they are very life like. She has over 75 patterns available, but she can do any pattern you might need. She does beautiful custom work. So if there is something that you may need and don't see, shoot her an e-mail.

I'm always so blown away when I see Bettye's work. She did a window charm for me and a paper towel holder. I love each piece and will cherish them always. Every time I look at them I can remember a very dear friend. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Nancy and Kathy for your nice comments on my items.
I do love to create unique and decorative items for sale. It's my only source of income. At 70 I could never find a 9 to 5 job again- not that I would want to "go there" anymore.
As we get older we slow down both mentally and physically and I'm definitely
Hope all goes well with both of you today.
Friends,
Bettye feeling my age these days.
